PEMF for Boosting the Immune System

Winter Health Challenge 2018

Welcome to another winter health challenge. Using your Rife to support the body during this period can help to get you ready for the seasonal changes and the challenges often associated with these changes. This is why we have prepared a new winter health challenge for you.

Rife Health Challenge

We suggest you use this protocol over the next month or two. Fit it into your current protocol, or get out your Rife device if you have not been using it, and help your body prepare for the coming winter.

The following programs have been included in the protocol:

  • Detoxification
  • Cold and Flu
  • Sinusitis
  • Allergy
  • Immune System Stimulation
  • Circulation

Detoxification and Lymph

With winter, we inevitably become less active and this means, the detoxification process of the body can slow down. We snuggle up and get cozy but sadly the decrease in movement slows the lymphatic system at a time when its needed most. By running detox with Lymph drainage twice a week, we can support this system as we move into the colder months and thereby support part of the body’s defenses against pathogens.

Cold and Flu – Cold in the head and chest

Using the Cold and Flu program once a week can also help to strengthen your body’s defenses at this time of year. If you do start to experience the symptoms of colds and flu, then use the cold and flu program daily for a week with the other symptomatic programs like inflammation and pain.

Sinusitis or Allergy programs

For those of you who suffer from seasonal allergies and sinusitis, now is the time to start using your Rife device preventatively to help to support the body’s defenses against these conditions. Run the Sinusitis and allergy program at least twice a week before allergies start or three to four times a week if you already have sinusitis. You can also add inflammation and rhinitis and the pain programs if you are already experiencing those seasonal allergies.

Circulation

As we slow down and become less active, circulation is affected in the body. Although the Rife can never replace healthy exercise, it can help to boost and improve circulation. Circulation is one of the most important keys to health. It provides every part of the body with the vital nutrients needed to survive and it removes toxins from the various parts of the body so boosting circulation always helps to boost health. If you are watching television, consider using your MAXI Mat to run the program while you enjoy your favorite program.

Immune System Stimulation

Obviously, a healthy immune system is the key to preventing disease. Keeping your immune system healthy can mean the difference between a cold free winter. So immune system stimulation is one of the most important programs for our winter protocol. We would suggest adding the immune system support programs to your winter protocol at least twice a week or even 4 times a week for a week or two.

Combining these programs into a month-long winter protocol could help you to get your body ready for the winter chill and hopefully help you to avoid the winter blues.

Here is an example protocol to follow until winter starts. The purple section is overnight treatment, yellow is daily treatment. Feel free to use this protocol to create your own or adjust it as necessary depending on your lifestyle and requirements.

Protocol for Allergies

This protocol is designed to address the symptoms and underlying causes of seasonal allergies. The protocol is based on protocols received from medical practitioners who work with the Rife device in practice.

PEMF therapy has been shown to reduce inflammation, to modulate and support a health immune system and it may help to improve cellular metabolism which supports healthy cells and tissues. TENS has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain and increase circulation. For studies on TENS and PEMF please read TENS Therapy for Inflammation and PEMF Therapy for Pain.

RifeBannerNew1

Please use the programs mentioned below to create a therapy that suits your daily schedule.

It is best to use the large mat for Schumann at night. This program plays a vital role in boosting the immune system because your immune system is most active at night. New immune cells are produced while you sleep and also the body heals most at night during good periods of restful sleep.

The Protocol

Allergy – 3 times a week
Allergy Pollen – 2 times a week.
Inflammation – 3 times a week
Sinusitis – if necessary 3 times a week
Detox and Lymph drainage – Once a week
Sleep/Schumann – Every night to support healing and sleep using the large mat.

If your time is limited you could use one of the Daytime programs overnight and leave Schumann out during this protocol, or you could reduce the time of the treatment to one minute instead of the default 3 minutes per program.

Create a schedule that suits your lifestyle using longer programs on the days you have more time and shorter ones on busier days.

PEMF for Multiple Sclerosis – The Protocol

There are a number of interesting studies that deal with the use of TENS and PEMF for Multiple Sclerosis patients. These studies deal with the effects of EMF therapy as well as TENS and tDCS. The parameters of these studies are not dissimilar to the outputs of the Rife Model MA device. Since the underlying cause of multiple sclerosis is not yet known, therapies aimed at improving the symptoms are currently the best indication of how to approach therapy in cases of MS. To read more about PEMF and TENS for Multiple Sclerosis, click here.

PEMF for Multiple Sclerosis

TENS and PEMF for Multiple sclerosis studies on MS include:

TENS therapy is even listed as one of the accepted therapies by the MSTrust in the UK.

The following protocol takes into account some of the studies on Multiple Sclerosis and is based on practical usage by practitioners using the Model MA for multiple sclerosis. The protocol is merely an idea of what programs could be beneficial for this condition.

Please consider using the suggesting programs and creating your own protocol that suits your patients or your own lifestyle needs. Some programs may provide more relief than others. Please feel free to adjust the protocol for these circumstances.

PEMF for prostate – Prostate protocols for the MA200

PEMF for prostate can be very beneficial. Promoting prostate health in men is vital. Unlike anti-inflammatories, you can use your Rife PEMF device prophylactically to prevent conditions in the future. With prostate conditions on the rise, continuous use of your Rife PEMF device can help you to decrease your risks of developing future complications.

Symptoms of Prostate complications to watch for include:

  • weak urine flow
  • needing to urinate more often, particularly at night
  • a feeling that your bladder has not emptied properly
  • difficulty starting to urinate
  • dribbling urine
  • needing to rush to the toilet - you may occasionally leak urine before you get there
  • blood in your urine

If you experience these symptoms, you need to speak to your physician. Once properly diagnosed you can use the protocols below. There are two different protocols depending on whether you are using your Rife PEMF for prophylactic purposes to help to support current and future prostate health or whether you are using your device to address current prostate complaints like prostatitis and BPH.

PEMF for prostate - for supporting prostate health:

Once a week first Week – use circulation to promote health circulation to the area

Once a week second Week – Use inflammation to reduce inflammation in the area

Once a week third Week – Use Prostate General

Once a week fourth Week – Use Prostatitis program

Once every three months – Prostate General for 5 consecutive days

PEMF for prostate - for Prostatitis, BPH and other prostate related complaints:

Day 1: Prostate General + Circulation
Day 2: Prostatitis + Inflammation
Day 3: Urinary Tract Infection + Detox

Repeat

Electrode Placement:

To obtain the best results from your Rife PEMF device, the electrodes must be placed as close to the affected area – in this case the prostate. There are a few options with regards to the electrodes and accessories you can use.

Two cylinders – place one cylinder between the buttocks cheeks below the anus and place the other cylinder just above the prostate area

One Cylinder, one body pad – place one cylinder between the buttocks cheeks below the anus and place the body pad just above the prostate area

Two body pads – Sit on one of the body pads – placing the pad below the buttocks and place the other body pad over the pelvic area.

Create a schedule that suits your lifestyle using longer programs on the days you have more time and shorter ones on busier days.

PEMF for Lower Back Pain – Protocol

PEMF for Lower Back Pain

PEMF for Lower Back Pain is quite widely accepted in medical circles. Chronic back pain and chronic lower back pain requires a long-term treatment protocol to reduce or slow the degeneration associated with these types of conditions. It also requires daily supplementation or diet that provides the nutrients required to support health joint and bone growth. Some of these nutrients include calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and collagen or gelatin as a collagen source. It is important to speak to your practitioner for support on which supplements are best for your situation.

PEMF for Lower Back Pain

To read more about PEMF for back pain, click here. Back pain is best treated topically – in other words using the body pads as close to the affected area as possible. Placing the body pads – well moistened – either side of the spine, as close to the affected area as possible has been shown to be most effective to manage back pain.

PEMF therapy has been shown to reduce inflammation, improve circulation and to modulate brain chemicals by affecting the various brain states. It has also been shown to improve cellular metabolism which supports healthy cells and tissues. TENS has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain and increase circulation. The benefits of TENS and PEMF can therefore help to reduce inflammation and support healthy bones and joints. Hence we have developed the back pain protocol based on practitioner feedback and client usage which can be used with the Model MA200.

Please use the programs below to create a therapy that suits your daily schedule. It is best to use the large mat for Schumann at night. This program plays a vital role in boosting the immune system because your immune system is most active at night.
